Donations and Community Support
Each year the Club uses any surplus funds to promote swimming and fitness throughout the local community. It does this through charitable donations and also a funding scheme called the Local Primary School Swimming Support Scheme (“LPSSSS”)
Through the LPSSSS, the Club intended to donate approximately $1,000 to a different local primary school on a regular basis to be used in the support of that school providing swimming lessons or organised swimming activities to its pupils. To date, the Club has made the following LPSSSS donations:
- 2005 - St Jerome's Primary School ($1,000)
- 2005 - Bibra Lake Primary School ($1,000)
- 2006 - South Lake Primary School ($750)
- 2006 - Mater Christi Catholic Primary School ($750)
- 2006 - Coogee Primary School ($750)
- 2007 - St Jerome's Primary School ($750)
- 2007 - Mater Christi Catholic Primary School ($750)
- 2007 - Bibra Lake Primary School ($750)
The Club also makes direct donations to charities and participates where possible in organised fund raising events, such as the annual “HeartSwim” with proceeds from fundraising going to the Heart Foundation.
Other donations made by the Club have included:

- 2005 - Heart Foundation (Heartswim)
- 2006 - Heart Foundation (Heartswim)
- 2006 - South Lake Dolphins Swimming Club (Sprint Carnival Sponsorship)
- 2007 - Heart Foundation (Climb to the Top)
- 2007 - South Lake Dolphins Swimming Club (Underwater Camera)
